Hattie B’s opened its East Nashville location at 1206 Gallatin Avenue on June 24, 2026, and immediately became what the neighborhood had been missing: a place you can bring six people with different tolerances for chaos, heat, and volume, and everyone wins.
This isn’t the cramped Midtown original. The new spot is 7,100 square feet with seating for 162, a 1,400-square-foot patio, and a separate 2,500-square-foot hangar space filled with pool tables, couches, TVs, and the kind of games that keep kids occupied while adults work through a second round.
It’s Hattie B’s largest location yet, internally called HB18, and it was designed from the start to be a neighborhood gathering spot rather than a line-out-the-door takeout counter.
The menu is the same Nashville hot chicken that made them famous: tenders, thighs, wings, or a quarter bird, with six heat levels from Southern (no heat) to Shut the Cluck Up (the one that comes with a waiver). Sides include pimento mac and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, and the kind of Southern plates you want after something that hot.
Hours: Sunday through Thursday 10:45 AM to 10 PM, Friday and Saturday 10:45 AM to midnight.
The hangar. Most Hattie B’s locations are tight, high-turnover spots. This one has room to sit and stay. Families camp out on the patio, groups settle in at the bar, and the back hangar turns into a watch-party room when games are on.
It’s the same energy Lost & Found brought to the east side earlier this year: a gathering spot for all ages where food is the anchor but the space is the reason people stick around.
The Eighteen is one mile from Hattie B’s front door. That’s a short walk, a two-minute drive, or the kind of distance that makes “let’s just go grab it” an actual option rather than a full expedition.
More importantly, it’s another data point in a pattern: the east side is getting the spaces that used to only exist across the river. Full kitchens, outdoor rooms, places built for groups. The neighborhood isn’t a secret anymore, but it’s still adding the infrastructure that makes staying here better than visiting.
One dollar from every order of Shut the Cluck Up goes to The Busyhead Project, Hattie B’s 2026 charitable partner. If you’re going to sign a waiver for chicken, at least it’s funding mental health support in the process.
The best part of staying at The Eighteen isn’t proximity to one spot — it’s that within a mile you’ve got Hattie B’s, Mas Tacos on your own street, The Pharmacy for the beer garden, and Five Points Pizza for the late-night walk home. Every meal is close, none of them require parking strategy, and your kitchen handles everything else.
